Hillside Veterinary Animal Hospital is dedicated to treating your pet as if it were one of our own. We ensure that our wide range of services provide your pet with the most comprehensive and highest quality care available. Certainly we provide spaying and neutering, procedures which should be considered for all pets not going to be bred. We also recommend microchip ID for all pets as an avenue for finding your loved ones should they become lost.

Yearly Physical Examination & Pet Vaccinations:
Hillside Veterinary Hospital recommends a comprehensive physical exams at our animal clinic annually, to ensure your pet is receiving the best medical attention and is on schedule for appropriate pet vaccinations to maintain optimal health. During this exam, all aspects of your pet's health are addressed and discussed.

Dentistry:
Good oral health for your pet can be the number one factor for a longer and happier life!  As part of our yearly physical examination, we will examine your pet’s mouth for any dental issues. At Hillside Veterinary Hospital we offer a multitude of pet dental services, including: oral and dental exams, cleaning, polishing, x-rays, extractions and fracture repair. Call us at any time to set up an appointment.

Non-Anesthesia Dental Care:

Hillside Veterinary Hospital offers a 7-step professional teeth cleaning performed without the use of anesthesia which offers pet owners an alternative method for cleaning and maintaining your pet's teeth. We typically have 2-3 days each month for this specific dental cleaning and we are usually schedule 1-3 months out.

Diagnostic and Lab Procedures:
We provide blood and lab services utilizing both in-house diagnostics and external laboratory resources. X-rays and ultrasound available in hospital.

Emergency Care:
We offer emergency services during our normal working hours. If possible call our office to let us know you are coming with an emergecy. Some emergency situations require us to refer patients to a pet ER. If your pet is in need of emergency care after hours, call our main line and for instructions for a 24-hour emergency medical service provider.

Pet Surgery Services:
Our skilled veterinarians adhere to the highest level of care standards for all surgical procedures, placing the utmost importance on pain management to ensure your pet is safe and comfortable throughout the treatment process.  Our list of pet surgery procedures include but not limited to:

  • Biopsies
  • Cystotomy - urinary
  • Declawing
  • Gall Bladder
  • GDV ("bloat" or gastric dilation-volvulus)
  • Intestine and stomach (foreign body removal)
  • Laceration and Wound Repair
  • Minor eye
  • Spay and Neuter
  • Soft Tissue
  • Splenectomy
  • Tumor Removal
Hospitalization:
While your pet is in our animal hospital, we provide daily meals (depending on patient needs), monitoring, and safety. Our trained staff will communicate directly with you about your pet's progress. We encourage you to come see your pet during our visiting hours, as well as call to get updates.
 
Euthanization:
Our office offers humane euthanasia for our patients. It is our goal to make this step in a pets and owners life as peaceful as possible, while keeping the pet as comfortable as possible. We also offer cremation services through an outside company, Pet Relfections. Please call our office with any specific questions.


Pharmacy:
We carry a full line of medications for your pet including vitamin and mineral supplements, shampoo and fur cleaners, flea and tick control, and heartworm medication. Additionally, we offer prescription medications. Some medications will need to be filled at outside pharmacies. 

Payment
Cash, CareCredit and all major credit cards accepted for payment. We do require full payment at time of service. 

 
**Please note that we ask all pets be on a leash or in a carrier upon arrival to our hospital. This insures your pets safety as well as others. Please notify our front desk if you do not have a leash or carrier and we will supply you one during your visit.
